In Memory of Miyuki Kanbe

Sad how people can be there and then not be there.   Recently, I have been going back and watching every Sailor Moon episode again and of course thinking about Miyuki Kanbe..

Miyuki Kanbe (神戸 みゆき, Kanbe Miyuki?) (May 7, 1984June 18, 2008) was a Japanese model and actress from Kanagawa employed by the talent agency Rouge. Her blood type was type O.

She is best remembered for her role in the Sailor Moon musicals as Usagi Tsukino; other credits include Battle Royale II (2003), Mermaid Melody Pichi Pichi Pitch (theme songs, 2003), Kamen Rider Hibiki (2005-2006) and the related movie Kamen Rider Hibiki & The Seven Fighting Demons (2005).

Kanbe was cast in the role of Eponine in the Japanese production of Les Miserables,
but was forced to give it up due to poor health in February 2007. Since
then, she had been in and out of the hospital until her death in
Kawasaki City on 18 June 2008 at 4:08 am. The cause of death is cited as sudden heart failure.[1]

A message from DigiDestined558:
"This is a video I made yesterday and today. It is my way of saying goodbye to Kanbe Miyuki. She was a young girl who tried her hardest to make her dreams come true, and fight her inner illness that plagued her for so long. Though she may have lost the battle she will always be in our hearts and minds as a girl who did her best to persevere through the bad times, and make it to the good times. All we can do is have faith that she is in a better place. This is for Miyuki, the 3rd Sera Myu’s Sailor Moon." — DigiDestined558
